Hi – I am Paul Crawford – a professional photographer with over 30 years experience – I know – I don’t look old enough but I did start very young and I have used a lot of Photoshop in this picture! 😉
My first love is my family. I am married to Patricia and we have 2 fantastic sons.
I have been a full-time professional photographer since 1990 and I have been privileged to have been asked to photograph well over 1400 weddings since then.
I worked in my own high street studios up until December 2010 when I decided to downsize and work from home. I now split my time between wedding photography and teaching photography courses for beginners, helping local business wanting to improve their in-house photography as well as mentoring those looking to start their own careers as photographers. I have recently launched my online photography courses platform, photographycourses247.com
Photography Courses & Workshops
I love meeting new people during my photography courses and having a laugh. Putting people at ease when you are trying to teach them makes it a lot easier for everyone!
Most of my courses and workshops begin in the classroom, with a welcome, introductions, then a presentation outlining everything you will learn on the day with detailed handouts for you to take home.
Small Groups
You will be part of a small, friendly group of students so you will have plenty of opportunities to ask me for help and advice.
Hands-on Experience
On each of the photography courses, you will have the opportunity to take your own photographs, putting into practice the skills you learn during the presentation with my help and advice.
After the Workshop
To get good value for money from your photography courses, I suggest that you run through your assignments again at home and make sure that you pick up your camera as often as you can until you’re feeling really confident and thoroughly enjoying your photography.
