Leave only footprints

Post updated: 06 July 2021

I had to drop my son off at a football match in Larne recently.

Apparently, it’s not “cool” to watch your 15-year-old son play football these days so I had a little time on my hands.

It was a lovely evening with beautiful soft light so I took myself down to Drains Bay beach, just a few miles north of Larne.

I had my Fujifilm X-T100 fitted with an 18-55 f2.8/4 lens and spent the next hour wandering up and down the beach…

I knew as soon as I arrived that I was going to be editing these images in Black & White – the shadows, patterns, and textures lend themselves to Black & White photography.

No award-winning pictures in this set, just a lovely memory of a beautiful evening spent by the sea…
