What you will learn on this Off Camera Flash Workshop
The day will start in the classroom discussing when and how to use off camera flash, looking at the different flash equipment available, the settings that control the flash / ambient light relationship with lots of examples explained in easy to understand terms - Guaranteed Jargon free!
After lunch (included in the price), we head out for a practical session with a model, using numerous lighting setup. Places are limited to 6 photographers to ensure everyone gets plenty of opportunity to get stunning images for their portfolio.

Is this the right photography course for me?
Experience Required
Although it is not a necessity, to get the most from this photography course you should have previously attended my Get More from Your Camera photography course – OR – be familiar and confident with the use of Aperture Priority with Exposure Compensation, Manual Exposure mode and understand ISO.
What Equipment do I need?
This photography course is suitable for those with DSLR or Compact System Cameras with standard hotshoe.
A prime 50mm lens would be useful although a standard “kit zoom” will be suitable.What's Provided
Paul will supply all the flashes, stands, modifiers and triggers* for the shoots so you can "try before you buy"!
We will be working with a model during the afternoon practical session with plenty of opportunities to add stunning images to your portfolio.
Tea/Coffee on arrival and a delicious lunch is also included in the price.
*triggers available for Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony cameras
